Rebates
Callaway
Electric Cooperative offers a rebate on conventional electric water heaters.
To be eligible for the rebate, members must install water heaters which meet
the following qualifications:
- Water heater
tank size must be 40 gallons or larger.
- Water heater
tank must have insulation rating of R-11 or greater.
- Dual heating
elements must be electrically interlocked to prevent both elements from
being energized at the same time.
- The new water
heater must either replace an existing gas or electric water heater, be
installed in a newly constructed home, or be installed in a home which
previously had no water heater.

Copy of
invoice or bill of sale (along with the make & model
number of
heater) must be presented to Callaway Electric Cooperative no later than
60 days from date of purchase.
- All rebates
will be made to member homeowners or builders only.
- Upon request,
a Callaway Electric Cooperative employee can verify installation of the
electric water heater.
Rebates
are as follows:
- Replacement
of electric water heaters -- $50.00
- New water
heater in a new house -- $200.00

Replacement
of a gas water heater -- $200.00 plus a $50.00 wiring allowance.
